Cape May  is located at the southern tip of the Cape My Peninsula in Cap May County New Jersey. The entire city is designated a national historic landmark because of the density of Victorian structures. One of the nation's oldest vacation resort areas the city, which is situated where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean, draws visitors from around the world  because of  the history, award winning beaches, and birdwatching. According to a 2010 US census, Cape May has a year round population of 3,607, but in the summer the population expands to as many as 40,000 to 50, 000 visitors.
