White Oak St, Kutztown, PA 19530.************************************* The Kutztown Fair started as a popular military fair 1831 and continued annually for many years. The fair changed over the years into what is now primarily an agriculture fair that perpetuates Pennsylvania German Culture. ********************** One of the Festival's biggest attractions is the Quilt Barn which displays a large number of locally handmade quilts and wall-hangings which are for sale during the festival. Quilts are accepted for the festival through a competitive juried process. ************ *********************A staff person waits to assist visitors with the large display of quilts.
